CYP Foods grew from a simple idea: food holds memory and comfort. Long before we started the business, that feeling lived in our everyday moments: shared meals, long workdays, and the quiet ways people show care through cooking.

When we moved to Melbourne in 2011, life shifted fast. New routines replaced familiar streets, and distance created a gap between our past and our present. Cooking the dishes we grew up with helped close that gap. The aroma in the kitchen brought back a sense of place and reminded us that home isn’t tied to a location. It sits in flavours that ground you.

That moment shaped what CYP Foods would become. We wanted to share flavours that carry cultural memory, offer comfort, and help people reconnect with what feels familiar.

We built CYP Foods with that purpose at the centre. Each product reflects long-held traditions, recipes passed down over time, and our commitment to carrying heritage forward in a practical, honest way. The business grew from our desire to keep culture alive, contribute to a new community, and offer something meaningful through food.
