When we moved to Melbourne in 2011, life shifted fast. New routines replaced familiar streets, and distance created a gap between our past and our present. Cooking the dishes we grew up with helped close that gap. The aroma in the kitchen brought back a sense of place and reminded us that home isn’t tied to a location. That moment shaped what CYP Foods would become. We wanted to share flavours that carry cultural memory, offer comfort, and help people reconnect with what feels familiar.

We built CYP Foods with that purpose at the centre.
